How does a Tea Pop work?
Drop your Tea Pop into a mug of hot water, about 250 ml (1 cup) for a Tea Pop and 150 ml (5 oz) for a Tea Pop Spoon. Stir gently for 2 to 3 minutes while the lollipop dissolves and releases the loose-leaf tea, dried fruit, and edible flowers inside. Sip and enjoy. Each pop comes with a tea bag you can drop in first for an extra-clean cup.
Is a Tea Pop sweet, and can I get it sugar-free?
Every Tea Pop is sweetened, and you choose how. Classic pops are made with cane sugar, and sugar-free pops are made with isomalt, a sugar substitute. Pick your sweetener on the product page. Sugar-free pops still taste sweet, though enjoying several isomalt pops in one sitting can have a laxative effect for some people.
Does a Tea Pop contain caffeine?
It depends on the flavor. Pops built on black, green, or oolong tea contain caffeine: Velvet Night, Queen of the Nile, Starlet Kiss, Blue Blossom, Golden Milk Oolong, Kenyan Berry, and Tropical Ceylon. Pops built on hibiscus, lavender, or chamomile are naturally caffeine-free: Blossom Berry, Ruby Garden, Lavender Dream, Sunset Fruit, Citrus Chamomile, and Alpine Herbs. Each flavor's page notes whether it contains caffeine.
What is in a Tea Pop, and are there allergens?
Each Tea Pop is made from the tea or botanical blend named in its flavor, plus real dried fruit and edible flowers, and your choice of cane sugar or isomalt. Every Tea Pop is made in a home kitchen. Some flavors contain tree nuts (the spoon-size Blossom Berry contains almond), and every pop may contain traces of other botanicals used in our kitchen. Are the dried flowers edible?
Yes. Every dried flower and botanical we use is food safe and edible, meant to be enjoyed along with your tea.
Can I cold brew a Tea Pop?
No. Tea Pops are designed for hot water only. Cold water will not dissolve the pop or release its flavor properly.
How long do Tea Pops keep, and how should I store them?
Store your Tea Pops in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and they will keep well until you are ready to brew them. Because they are handmade in small batches with real botanicals, a little natural variation in color and shape from pop to pop is normal.
How long does shipping take, and do you ship outside the United States?
Every Tea Pop is handmade to order, and we ship within 1 to 3 business days. From there, delivery time depends on the USPS service you choose at checkout: Ground Advantage, Priority Mail, or Priority Mail Express. We currently ship within the United States only, including Washington DC, Puerto Rico, and APO/FPO military addresses.
Do you make Tea Pops for showers, weddings, or other events?
Yes. Tea Pops are popular favors for bridal and baby showers, weddings, birthdays, and other celebrations. Visit our custom orders page and tell us about your event, and we will help you put together the right assortment.
Do you offer bulk or custom orders?
Yes. For larger quantities or a custom flavor assortment, reach out through our contact page with your event date and estimated quantity, and we will get back to you with options.
Can I get a discount code?
We occasionally offer discount codes, including for customers who leave us a review. Follow us on Instagram or sign up for our newsletter to hear about current offers.
What if my order arrives damaged?
We are sorry if that happens. Contact us at hello@teapopco.com within 7 days with a photo of the damage, and we will look into it and make it right. Because Tea Pops are a food product, we handle damaged-order requests individually rather than offering a standard return policy.
